Carl Dias

Current Club Team

Perth SC

Enrolment Class

Carl is an explosive forward, clocking in a top speed of 9m/s / 32.40kph. With his superb technique, tactical vision, remarkable dribbling skills, and ability to perform at high speed, Dias has everything a modern winger and attacking midfielder needs. In addition, the Western Australian State player has an excellent work ethic and a mature footballer’s perspective, making him a perfect candidate for a student-athlete.

Dias shows excellent signs of hunger and discipline towards soccer and school – at times he even needs a reminder to rest before burning himself out. The EASA team are confident that his hard work will eventually pay off. There is no doubt he will be a part of a professional setup in the next couple of years.

Recently, Carl got the first-team call-up against A-League side Perth Glory.

Profile

I believe a coach should recruit me for their team as I am a disciplined hard worker, and I’m willing to do what needs to be done. I am highly motivated to study and play in the USA as it might lead to a professional contract – perhaps within the MLS. I would like to study Sports Science, and possibly lead into Physiotherapy. I bring many values to a team, mainly discipline and motivation.

If I could have coffee with one person it would be with Cristiano Ronaldo. He is one of my idols and someone I look up to quite frequently. I would ask him about his journey and how he made it from his humble beginnings.

Once again, it will have to be Cristiano Ronaldo.

I think about the reason why I play. Otherwise, music always helps.
